Slammed Graphics

1. I’ve never eaten a Mango, however I am addicted to Naked Juice in Mighty Mango. It’s friggin’ delicious.

2. My dream car is a 2005 Porsche 911 GT2. It would have to be either Black, Silver, or pear white. I love Porsches, but I hate Boxsters, they’re Porsches with panties.

3. I am often far too nice to people who don’t deserve a single milligram of my kindness.

4. In 23 years I’ve never been able to pick one favorite band or artist. However at the moment Wolfmother, Volbeat, and Pantera are at the tippy top of my list. But my wide and varied taste in music tends to get me quite a few eyebrow raises at times.

6. My favorite color is green.

7. My two nieces (aged 8 and 6) are my world. I spoil them regularly.

8. I find it very distasteful when people say and do things to hurt others on purpose. I’m not excessively judgmental by any means, I try to keep an open mind but I immediately discredit people who do this as schmucks.

9. I’m very much a southern woman. I rarely drink anything other than sweet tea, I could live off of fried okra, and I still don’t understand why the northern US has yet to embrace grits. They’re brilliant.

10. I’d eat bacon for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if it wouldn’t send my cholesterol through the roof.

11. I hate pickles, but I love cucumbers. Weird, I know.

12. When it comes to my photography, I spend a lot of time beating myself to a pulp about how much better I could do. I never feel like any single photo I’ve ever taken is “good enough”. It may sound unhealthy to think this way, but it helps me continue to push myself to learn and better my skill set.

13. I love to paint and draw. Give me some acrylics and canvas and I’m a happy camper.

14. I like to be thorough about everything. Which means I’m constantly worrying. It’s very stressful. But I often fall into the position of caretaker because of this, that part is not something I mind.

15. Making people laugh or smile, is by and large my favorite thing to do in the entire world. It’s better than creating beautiful pictures or eating bacon all day long. I believe firmly that life is all about making a good impact on the people you care about.

16. I am a tad bit obsessive compulsive about quite a few things. Calling myself a perfectionist wouldn’t quite cut it.

17. I have no problem admitting to anyone that I dance around my room with the music turned up extremely loud at random times throughout the day. Often times it’s the only way I can de-stress when I’m swamped with project deadlines or generally frustrated with life.

18. I love animals and strongly support animal rights. Animal cruelty literally makes me cry (as do those ASPCA commercials where they play that sappy Sarah McLachlan song and show pictures of sad pups and kitties). I always adopt my pets from the shelter unless I’ve rescued them myself.

19. I have a Chinchilla named King Louie who is literally the most adorable creature I’ve ever seen in my entire life. He sleeps on my stomach often while I watch tv and sits on my lap while I’m working in Photoshop.

20. I will not eat regular Oreos. Doublestuff or nothin’.

21. I am a trained singer. I don’t sing (except for my usual singing in the shower) anymore these days. I miss it terribly.

22. I love mob movies. Casino and The Godfather Trilogy are among my favorite movies. I have my father to thank for my love of manly movies.

23. I am extremely good at winning stuffed animals out of those claw machines. My nieces love this.

24. I own a 1993 Nissan 240sx Coupe. I love my car. It’s got horrible flat gray paint, because I’m waiting to paint it until I feel more financially secure. But it does have fabulous wheels. Kosei K1s. :)

25. My favorite writers are Carl Sandburg, Robert Frost, and Charles Bukowski.

26. I read comic books on a regular basis growing up (thanks to my dad’s awesome collection of comics). I still have quite a few of them. I still read them.

27. I have no patience for people who cause constant drama and/or try to include myself or my close friends in said drama. I disassociate myself with those kinds of people very quickly.

28. I think all women are beautiful. We’re all different and beautiful in various ways, but we are all amazing creatures. I truly dislike the way the media portrays beauty in women. It’s the wrong message to send America’s young women.

29. I have no problem whatsoever admitting that I like Twilight. I read the books and enjoyed them very much. I also enjoyed the movies thus far, mostly because Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are quite easy on the eyes.

30. I am definitely a hugger. I hug most everyone I know on a somewhat decent basis. Screw typical hellos and waves. Hugs are far better and often make the difference between a good day and a mediocre day.
