I don’t have the actual text saved of what she wrote. I understand that alot of people are very much shaken by the whole thing. But I do feel that it would be rude to re-post the original post if I had it. I will tell you this though, Shannon seems to be an amazing person. Very real and very compassionate. She is struggling through her life in a lot of the same ways that we all struggle.
I think the very best thing we can do as a whole community here on Tumblr is provide her with all the kindness we can. I don’t talk about this often to really anyone but I’ve been in her shoes, feeling that down, feeling that complete sense of hopelessness that your world isn’t going to improve. And you just feel stuck and swallowed whole by all the things going wrong in your life. Going through my own experiences, though different in a lot of ways than hers, taught me that it’s always important to be kind.
I hope what I’ve said above makes you feel better. But thank goodness that she is in the hospital and she’s going to be okay. Thank you for your note, you are obviously a very kind and sweet person. Lots of love,
